Congrats to the newly elected AIHA UMS officers. Thanks to all who voted to support our organization.

President Elect – Debbie Brown

Secretary Elect – Vint Johnson

Treasurer Elect – Millie Jep

I want to extent my sincere gratitude and appreciation to our outgoing officers:  Kathy Thompson (President), Victorio Angulo-Escudero (Secretary), and Debbie Brown (Treasurer).   A true team effort from everyone working together keeps this organization moving forward.  Kathy will remain involved as Past-President for this next year to help with knowledge transfer.  Debbie Brown comes back to the board as President-Elect.  Scott Norman (President), Sergio Arce (Secretary), and Liz Vold (Treasurer) move forward as the current officers with the newly elected officers learning the roles and helping lead events.

April 19th meeting – students presentations

The snow is slowly disappearing, and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of spring.  Summer will be right on its heels so that means it is time to mark your calendar for the Annual Summer Boat Cruise for EHS Professionals.  This year we are making arrangements to go to Harriet Island in St. Paul and cruise the Mighty Mississippi River with the Padelford Riverboats.  The event is scheduled for 3:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.  More details and registration information will be coming as we get closer to summer.  Don’t miss this wonderful afternoon of socializing and networking!
