“Gone Country” – The 2024 Summer Boat Cruise for EHS Professionals

The biggest Twin Cities area summer networking and social event for EHS Professionals and their guests is set for Wednesday afternoon, July 31 and you won’t want to miss this! This year we have “Gone Country”, and we’ll be enjoying a Country theme as we cruise beautiful Lake Minnetonka on Paradise Charter Cruises’ Destiny II. A collaboration between the ASSP, the AIHA, and the Minnesota Safety Council, the cruise will feature food, drink, fun, and wonderful networking opportunities with fellow EHS Professionals and representatives of a variety of companies that are serving as Cruise Sponsors.

This year’s event will be extra special as we are offering 30-minute sessions of line dancing lessons, featuring professional line dance instructor Lynn Card of Line Dance Minnesota and her Assistant, Jody Huberty! These lessons will be at a beginner level, so don’t worry if you have never done the Boot-Scootin’ Boogie or the Electric Slide! Space limitations on the boat require us to limit the number of dance lesson slots, so think of this as extra incentive to register for the cruise right away if you want to get in on one of these.

The cruise departs promptly at 1:30 PM and returns at 4:00 PM. Address for our departure point is: The Port of Excelsior, 2 Water Street, Excelsior, MN 55331. Participation in the cruise is limited to the first 100 people that register. Cost for the cruise is $35.00 per person.
